Customizing Dashboards
Dashboards are based on Apache Echarts, an open source JavaScript library.

Configuring Custom Themes
If you want to customize or create a new theme, it is possible to do that for all or for a specific tenant. Configuration of custom files apply concepts described in the “General Customization” chapter.
Apache Echarts provides a set of default themes, but you can create your own custom themes to match your branding or specific design requirements. Custom themes allow you to change the appearance of charts, including colors, fonts, and other visual elements.
Configuring Custom Themes in Dashlet-themes Folders
Default theme files are located in the common core default folder:
install_path/conf/defaults/dashlet-themes/themeName
It is not recommended to modify Dashlet themes located at this location, as with new installation or upgrade the entire folder will be overwritten or deleted. To create a customized version, copy the folder with its content to core customization folder for all tenants:
install_path/conf/dashlet-themes/themeName
For specific tenant, you can copy the folder to:
install_path/conf/tenants/tenantID/dashlet-themes/themeName
where tenantID is a unique tenant identifier. During installation or upgrade, these folders will be preserved.
Configuring a Theme File for Dirx Audit Manager
A theme is stored in a JSON file. To configure a theme file, you can use theme builder:
-
The Apache Echarts theme builder:
https://echarts.apache.org/en/theme-builder.html
Download the theme in JSON file format and save it in the appropriate folder as described in the previous section. For example, my-theme.json. You can also create two themes which will change according to the system theme (light or dark). In this case, you need to name the files as my-theme_light.json and my-theme_dark.json, where the suffixes _light and _dark indicate the respective system theme. The system will automatically apply the correct theme based on the current system theme. New theme will appear in the list of available themes in the “Changing Dashlet Settings”.
If you cannot see your new theme in DirX Audit Manager, restart the Apache Tomcat service used for DirX Audit Manager.
