Installation Artifacts

This chapter describes the product components that are delivered on the DirX Access installation media or the DirX Access patch. Before the installation is started, several things are to be addressed. The administrator shall check the system requirements. For detailed information on the supported platforms, please refer to the DirX Access data sheet.

Windows

This section lists all the components delivered for Microsoft Windows. The items are located under the folder {dvd|patch}/Installation/Windows:

  • dirxaccess.exe, the DirX Access Installer for 64-bit platforms.

  • dirxaccess.properties, the DirX Access Installer’s properties files for silent installation and initial deployment.

Linux

The sections lists all the components delivered for Linux. The items are located under the folder {dvd|patch}/Installation/Linux:

  • dirxaccess.bin, the DirX Access Installer for 64-bit platforms.

  • dirxaccess.properties, the DirX Access Installer’s properties file for silent installation and initial deployment settings.

It is needed to mount the delivery media with the mnt command.

  • Deploying other instances of the DirX Access Server.

  • Adjusting other instances of the DirX Access Server.
