Pdps

DirX Access ships with following default PDP settings:

RBAC Business PDP: authorization policy management for this PDP occurs through DirX Access Manager or the provisioning Web service. XACML policies according to the RBAC profile of XACML can be employed. This PDP can be used by any PEP (coordination occurs via the PDP identifier).

RBAC Administration PDP: this PDP processes pre-produced policies shipped with DirX Access. These are XACML policies according the RBAC profile. This PDP is used by internal PEPs.

You can use the Policy decision points to set up and enable other PDPs. These PDPs can be used with any PEP.
