SAML attribute template configuration allows to create and edit templates for Attribute child elements of SAML assertion elements.

Description of the configuration object

SAML attribute name

The name of the SAML attribute. It is strongly recommended to make the attribute name as short as possible in order to prevent unnecessarily large tokens, while keeping the names unique and avoiding registered JWT claims.

SAML attribute name format

The format of the name for the SAML attribute.

SAML attribute friendly name

The friendly name of this SAML attribute.

Mandatory

Whether or not a SAML attribute is mandatory. If the attribute is mandatory, the SAML assertion issuance fails if the attribute value is unavailable.

Do encrypt

Whether or not the SAML attribute is encrypted in outgoing SAML messages. SAML assertion encryption conceals the actual SAML assertion object using an XML encryption object.

SAML attribute value template identifier

The identifier of the SAML attribute value construction template to be used for the SAML attribute.
